October Trendsetters

We’ve done it! Another month down, can you believe how fast it went? It’s like we blinked in March and here we are… While we are still trying to get our bearings here are our opinions on this months trends!

Coming back at you with some updated fall weather options we have this gorgeous faux fur moment. Have you ever asked yourself if you could wear your faux fur( f.f ) dressed down? Duh!! You can do anything you want in your fashion world, but just to ease any worries this f.f and boyfriend jean look has been all over streets this fall.

I don’t know about you ladies but I tend to re-watch some of my favorite movies when fall hits and it starts getting dark around 5pm. One of my top 10 is The Devil Wears Prada, fashion and Meryl Streep I mean come on!!! This cast is so great and in fact this persons role in the film has become quick iconic. Emily Blunt is our celeb this month, this working mom has a timeless fashion sense and it never seems to ever go wrong.

Cozy up to that fireplace ( or in our case that radiator ) of yours with a warm mug of tea/coffee and this great read. Sing to It is a collection of short stories which, is perfect for our lives as moms and working women! These intriguing little stories are great to read before bed or on our lunch break and they don’t leave us hanging to terribly for more.

If you haven’t listened to this artist’s newest single that dropped earlier this month, we certainly recommend it! Harry Styles’ Lights Up single is a pop anthem if we ever hear one. Released on National Coming Out Day this song certainly made a bit of a statement with it’s adaptable lyrics, overall it is one catchy song if you are into that sort of thing.

If you think Fall in your home town is the most beautiful, I am sorry to report that we are all wrong. This next dream vacation spot has us all beat in terms of pretty much everything. We are dying to stroll the country sides of Portugal this Fall.
