Inauguration day was a historic event and celebration we'll all remember. But, let's talk about the STYLE QUEENS that came out in full force and the trends we'll be seeing this Spring/Summer. With their symbolic color choices to the over the top statement pieces, we can't stop talking about these powerful women! Here's our top 5 picks.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga always lives a bit larger than life and her ensemble was no different. From the oversized skirt that looks like a comforter from her bed to the bird of peace pin on her shoulder. We are getting total Hunger Games vibes from her Schiaparelli Haute Couture ensemble and kind of loving it... we all need a little extravagance right now.

Dr. Jill Biden

Her turquoise ensemble was chic and classic, exactly what we would expect from the first lady. Her custom Markarian ensemble with matching gloves and mask were perfection. According to Markarian, the ocean blue color was chosen to signify trust, confidence, and stability.

Amanda Gorman

This color combo is EVERYTHING! While Amanda Gorman stole the show with her "The Hill We Climb" poem, her coat and red headband by Prada were equally stunning.  To top off the ensemble, she wore jewelry gifted to her by Oprah. The yellow color is going to be a big hit this Spring/Summer.

Ella Emhoff

Another name you'll be seeing more of in the future, is Ella Emhoff. Kamala Harris' stepdaughter has already been labeled a style icon, after making her debut in a plaid houndstooth Miu Miu jacket. Cinched at the waist and embellished at the shoulders, Ella's look was nothing short of fabulous.

Michelle Obama

Rounding out the list and our number ONE pick of the day is the ever gracious and chic Michelle Obama. She dominated in her Sergio Hudson plum suit with oversized belt and luscious curls. We are getting major 70s vibes. Take note, you'll be seeing this style everywhere this year. 

While purple was the color of choice for many this year, symbolizing unity, there are a few more trends you'll see popping up this Spring/Summer - thanks to the leading ladies of the 2021 Inauguration.
